A cozy cardigan

My sister in law is always cold. So last year we picked out a beautiful, soft, thick yarn together and she gave me her favorite cardigan to use as a pattern. This was a project from before I started this blog, but I'm proud of it and recently found a picture, so here it is!

Over the course of about a month, I knitted this. It's very simple, but exactly what she asked for. And I was impressed with myself for making a garment with no pattern. I just kept measuring and comparing after every few rows to make sure it was the same size as the original.

I think I need to attempt replicating my own favorite sweater next.
